TIMOTHY DEAN STAFFORD
ABBEVILLE. . .Timothy Dean (Tim) Stafford, a resident of Abbeville, died early Sunday morning, November 3, 2013, of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident, which occurred in Dale County, near Ozark. He was 53.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, November 5, 2013, in the Holman-Abbeville Mortuary Chapel with Pastor Troy Stafford officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at the mortuary.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Children’s Hospital of Alabama, Coke Matthews Foundation, 1600 7th Avenue, South, Birmingham, AL 35233.
Tim Stafford was born in Gary, Indiana, and was reared in Old Homosassa, Florida, son of the late Jessie Jerdon Stafford and Nettie Sue Westmoreland Stafford. He lived in Abbeville most of his adult lifetime. Tim was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Old Homosassa, Florida. He was employed by Southside WALMART in Dothan. Tim was an avid Florida Gator and NASCAR racing fan. He was preceded in death by his wife, Deborah Lynn (Debbie) Stafford, and a brother, Thomas Stafford.
Surviving relatives include three sons, Jessie Stafford (Terra), Chris Stafford (Cindy), and Josh Stafford, all of Abbeville; five grandchildren, Chandler Stafford, Gabriel Stafford, Noah Stafford, Madison Hayes, and Taylor Hayes; two brothers, Pastor Troy Stafford (Essie), and Terry Stafford, both of Old Homosassa, Florida; a sister-in-law, Patricia Stafford, Tullahoma, TN; several nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
