Tolbert W. Allen, of Dothan, passed away Thursday, January 14, 2021, at his residence. He was 85 years old.

Throughout Mr. Allen’s life, his most meaningful work was pastoring to numerous churches.
Leaving to cherish his memories are those he treasured, his wife, Valeria; his daughters, Gail (Lamar) Hendrix, of Headland, Brenda (Jerry) Renfroe, of Montgomery, and Darlene Ottaviano and Bryan, of Arkansas; five grandchildren; four great grandchildren; his two sisters, Lorene (Billy) Ivey and Annie (Calvin) Simmons; his brother, James (Carol) Allen; several nieces and nephews; and Valeria’s children and their families.
