Tommy Gene Dean, 72, of Dothan passed away Thursday, February 23, 2012 at Wesley Manor.

Services will be 10 am Monday, February 27, 2012 at Sunset funeral Home. The family will receive friends following the services.

Mr. Dean was born May 6, 1939 in Dale County to the late Monroe and Lillie Mae Dean. He lived most of his life in the Dothan area. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.

Survivors include his sisters, Annie Cain of Dothan and Barbara (Earl) Butterworth of Dothan; brothers, Bobby (Christine) Dean of Dothan and Billy (Betty) Kennedy of Midland City; a sister-in-law Betty J. Dean of Dothan; a dear friend and ex-wife Melinda Nolen of Dothan; several nieces and nephews and other family members also survive.
