Tyson Lewis Thomas, a resident of Dallas, GA (Marietta) and formerly of Dothan, AL, passed away on Tuesday, March 26, 2019 at Medical Center Barbour in Eufaula, AL. He was 14 years old.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 31, 2019 at the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.

Tyson was born October 19, 2004 in Dothan, AL.

Survivors include his father, Jermaine Thomas; mother, April Flowers; brothers, Cooper Greg Thomas, Darius Derell Thomas and Andre James Thomas; sister, Amiahi Thomas; grandmothers, Melissa Thomas and Penny Flowers; aunts and uncles, Holli Davis, Jasmine Davis, Jameika Pride, Brandy Thomas, Natasha Sanders, Christopher (Sheretha) Thomas, Cherish Flowers, Ashley Flowers and Jessica Williams; cousins, Thomas Jordan “TJ” Calhoun, Caleb Calhoun and Savannah Calhoun; special great cousin, Jessi Ivey; several more family members and friends survive. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, James Walter Thomas, Hollis Helms and Frank Lewis Flowers; great-grandmothers, Annie Rachel Thomas and Fannie Lou Helms; and a cousin, Trey Eden Calhoun.
