Van Lee Pott Jr. (Rooster) of Daleville (Clayhatchee), AL passed away Saturday, July 16, 2016 at his home.  He was 58.

Memorial services will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel in Daleville.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 9:00 AM until service time.

Survivors include his mother, Joyce Vance, Clayhatchee, AL; 3 sisters, Marie Kendall (Paul), Lake Wales, FL, Sonya Everidge (Danny), Douglas, GA, Joyce Ann Rhoades (Wayne), Mt. Dora, FL; brother, Billy Eugene Owens (Yvonne), Newport, TN; several nieces and nephews.
