She is survived by her siblings, Paul Dykes, Jr., Teresa Walker, Rhonda Pipkin, Debbie Faison, and Linda (Glenn) Deedon. Vanesa also leaves behind a close-knit circle of special friends, including Meritta Hughes, Nellie Howell, and Bessie Mitchell, as well as a cherished little girl, Paisley Ann Williams, who held a special place in her heart.
Throughout her life, Vanesa was known for her big heart and love for all children. She had a natural ability to connect with young ones, making them feel seen, heard, and valued. Her warmth and compassion extended to everyone she met, and she was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need.
Vanesa's love for animals was evident in the way she cared for her own pets and the strays she encountered. She believed that every creature deserved love and kindness, and she made it her mission to provide that to the best of her ability. Her gentle spirit and nurturing nature made her a favorite among the animals she encountered, and she found great joy in their companionship.
In addition to her love for animals and children, Vanesa was a talented cook who enjoyed preparing meals for her family and friends. She took great pride in her culinary skills and delighted in sharing her creations with others. Her dishes were not only delicious but also made with love, making each meal a memorable experience for those fortunate enough to partake.
Vanesa found solace and beauty in nature, particularly in the presence of hummingbirds and cardinals. She would often spend hours watching these delicate creatures flit about, marveling at their grace and agility. Their vibrant colors and lively energy brought her immense joy and served as a reminder of the simple pleasures in life.
Throughout her life, Vanesa embodied the qualities of loving-kindness and generosity. She was a beacon of light to those around her, offering comfort and support in times of need. Her unwavering dedication to her family and friends was a testament to her strong character and the depth of her love.
