Vesta leaves behind a legacy built by faith, love and devotion to her family and friends.  A dedicated servant to her Lord Jesus Christ was reflected in her care and concern for all she met.  As a devoted member of Westview Baptist Church, she became a mother figure to all the children that were around her.  The love of Jesus poured through her to all, whether at church or in her many years of employment at J. C. Penneys.  She was truly a Godly inspiration to everyone.

She was preceded in death by her husband James O. Counts, Jr., parents, D. E. and Ethel Byrd, siblings, Carroll Byrd, Mable Grimes and Billy Byrd.

Survivors include her children, Nan Ford; Sandra (Roy) Harrison; Mickey (Tanya) Counts, all of Enterprise, AL; Teresa (Phillip) Banfield, Glencoe OK; eight grandchildren, James (Erin) Harrison; Danielle (Matt) Doss; Kayla (Tim) Bradley; Victoria Counts; Olivia Counts all of Enterprise, AL; Christopher Banfield, Greenville, TX; Emily Banfield, Edmond, OK; Austin Banfield, Glencoe, OK; two great-grandchildren, Han Harrison; Spencer Bradley.

The family would like to thank Deborah Sanders, Ryan Fray, Mary Currie, Marita Patrick and the Enterprise Health & Rehabilitation Center staff for the care Vestalene received while a resident.  A special thanks goes to the angels on hall seven for all the hard work, care and love for momma.
