VICKI CHILDREE HILL
DOTHAN. . .Vicki Childree Hill, a resident of Dothan, died unexpectedly March 19, 2013, while visiting in Temple, Texas. She was 55.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 A.M Monday, March 25, 2013, in the Holman-Headland Mortuary Chapel with Reverend Chuck Locke officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:30 until 11:00 A.M. Monday at the mortuary in Headland.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 1449 Medical Park Drive, Birmingham, AL 35213.
Ms. Hill was born and reared in Dothan and was a graduate of Dothan High School. She formerly lived in Headland before returning to Dothan where she lived most of her lifetime. She attended Wallace College and received a degree in Cosmetology. Ms. Hill was a member of the Ridgecrest Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her father, Rhodes Childree, and the father of her children, Sonny Hill.
Surviving relatives include three daughters, Aerial Hill Leonard (Tyrone), Hamilton, TX; Amber Hill Albury (James), Pinckard; and Amanda Hill, Grimes; her mother and step-father, Nora Vinson Clark and Gary Clark, Dothan; two sisters, Cathy Childree Grubbs (Robert), Dothan; Lee Powell (Frank), Dothan; three brothers, Gregory Childree, Chris Childree (Michelle), and Tyler Childree, all of Dothan; five grandchildren, Adrian and Tyler Rivers, Haley and Bella Leonard, and Celeste Albury; her special canine friend, “Princess,” and several nieces and nephews.
