MIDLAND CITY. . .Vince Seagers, a resident of Midland City, died early Thursday morning, December 10, 2020, in the Henry County Health & Rehabilitation Facility. He was 32. Vince was injured in a motor vehicle accident which occurred June 30, 2009 near Midland City.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, December 13, 2020, in the Holman-Headland Mortuary Chapel with Pastor Fred McClain officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory, between Headland & Dothan. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M. Sunday at the mortuary in Headland. Social distancing guidelines and masks will be observed.
Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to the Henry County Health & Rehabilitation Facility “Activities Fund”, 212 Dothan Road, Abbeville, AL 36310
Vince Seagers was a native of Midland City and lived in Destin, Florida before returning to Dale County in 2008. He was a member of the Napier Baptist Church. He enjoyed outdoor activities which include football, baseball, surfing and mud bogging. Vince was preceded in death by his grandparents, Arthur Gene Seagers and Ray and Joan Ellison Prophitt.
Surviving relatives include his mother, Ronda Prophitt Glover and step-father, Brett Glover, Midland City; and his father, Rafe Seagers (fiance’, Lori Dillard Culp), Ashford; his paternal grandmother, Molly Teel, Midland City; his step-grandmother, Barbara Glover, Headland; four brothers, Derrik Seagers (Carly), Midland City; Caden Seagers, Miramar Beach, FL; Justin Reeder (Kayla), and Austin Snellgrove, all of Crestview, Florida; aunts and uncles, Scarlet McDaniel (Warde), Todd Seagers (Holly), Eddi Glover and Kim Glover; a niece, Elizabeth Brantley, and nephews, Jordan Seagers, Henry Seagers and Alex Brantley, and a special cousin, Candace McDaniel Smith.
Serving as active pallbearers will be Derrik Seagers, Rafe Seagers, Caden Seagers, Justin Reeder, Austin Snellgrove and Mason Walding.
