Visitation will be at Ward-Wilson Funeral Home on Monday July 14 from 6:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. Flowers will be accepted.
Our mother Jenny, was born in Midland City, AL and lived all of her life in the Dothan area. In her early years growing up in a farming community, she worked in the fields tending crops with her siblings and parents. After getting off the farm, she became a waitress and during this time she met our father and married. After giving birth to her children, she continued to work at the old Dothan Manufacturing Pajama Hosiery Mill as a seamstress. Prior to her retirement, she was employed for many years by Evergreen Presbyterian Childcare as a childcare provider.
Mother was a strong, loving, and happy person. She instilled in us a positive attitude and strong family values and brought laughter to her friends and family. We will truly miss her but she will always remain in our hearts and her loving spirit will be with us forever.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Lula Mae Deese; brother, Edgar Deese; sisters, Juanita Condrey, Mitchell Chandler, Thelma Tice, Wilma Meadows, and Lillie Bell Kennedy, and niece Kathleen Henderson. She was also preceeded by our father Dennis Paulk, Jr. and our baby brother Hosea James Paulk.
She is survived by her 2 sons Ronnie Paulk and Mark Paulk, her daughter Debbie Brazell, her precious granddaughter Laney Brazell, and son-in-law Tim Brazell. She is also survived by many loving members of the Paulk and Deese family. We would like to thank her many loving and very special friends in her Lakewood neighborhood for always being there for her.
