Samuel “Wallace” Seals, 79, a resident of Dothan, passed away Monday, February 14, 2022 at Flowers Hospital.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 19, 2022 at Glover Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Alan Bryan, Reverend Dennis Singletary and Reverend Jonathan Woodham officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Cemetery with Glover Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. on Saturday prior to service time.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Cloverdale Baptist Church in memory of Wallace Seals, “Capital Improvement Fund,” for the sound system, 806 Dexter Street, Dothan, AL, 36301.
Mr. Seals was born May 9, 1942 in Barbour County, Alabama to Samuel D. and Lois Norton Seals. He grew up in Barbour County and was a graduate of Clayton High School. He later attended Wallace Vocational Technical School and became a T.V. and Radio Repairman. Wallace began his career at Sears where he worked for several years and then established Wallace Seals T.V. Repair which he successfully operated for over 30 years. In earlier years, he enjoyed league bowling. Mr. Seals was a longtime member of Cloverdale Baptist Church.
He is predeceased by his parents and a brother, Sterling Seals.
Survivors include his wife, Linda J. Seals of Dothan, a sister, Martha Bobola of Jacksonville, FL; close nieces and nephews, David McGowan, Kristi Filipkowski and Sheila Cox; great nieces and nephews, Caitlin McGowan, Bethany McGowan, Jaeden Filipkowski, Laila Filipkowski and Leah Filipkowski, Amanda Cox and Sterling Cox; numerous other nieces and nephews; special longtime friends, Charlotte and Wayne Williams.
