ABBEVILLE…Wanda Rollins Lisenby a former resident of Abbeville, died Wednesday morning, March 2, 2022, in Soddy Daisy, Tennessee.  She was 70.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, March 5, 2022, in the Abbeville Memorial Cemetery-East with Reverend Joey Hudspeth officiating. Holman-Abbeville Mortuary & Cremations is in charge of funeral arrangements.  The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 P.M. Friday at the mortuary.

Wanda Lisenby was a native of Abbeville, daughter of the late James Leslie Rollins, Sr. and LaVerne Blalock Rollins.  She was a graduate of Wallace College Sparks Campus in Eufaula. Wanda also earned a B.S. Degree in Business Administration.  She was formerly employed by the Southern Company at the Joseph M. Farley Nuclear Plant, near Columbia and also in Atlanta. Wanda retired from Siemens Westinghouse in Atlanta. She was preceded in death by a brother, James Leslie Rollins, Jr. and a sister, Gail Rollins.

Surviving relatives include a son, Don Lisenby (Brandi), Hixson, TN; a brother, George Rollins (Patty), Boerne, TX; a grandchild, Stefen Lisenby (Katie), a great-grandchild, Jaxson Lisenby; and a special friend, Shelby Tankersley, Atlanta, GA.
