WESLEY ALLAN BAKER

HEADLAND… Wesley Allan Baker, a resident of Headland, Alabama, passed away late Monday night, October 14, 2024, at a Dothan hospital. He was 53.

          A memorial service will be held 4:00 P.M. Thursday, October 17, 2024, at Wright Funeral Home & Crematory Chapel with Reverend Brad Sasser and Reverend Mike Whitman officiating. The family will receive friends from 3:00 until 4:00 P.M. prior to the service. Wright Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.

          Mr. Baker was born in Ozark, Alabama to Robert Wilton Baker and the late Glenda Baker Spivey. He attended Louisville High School. He also graduated from Alabama Aviation College in Ozark, Alabama with an AAS Aviation Degree. He was a technical inspector with M1Aviation at Ft. Novosel, formerly Ft. Rucker. He was a member of the New Brockton Masonic Lodge as well as a Scottish Rite.

          Along with his mother, Mr. Baker was also preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Robert and Bernice Bowman; his maternal grandparents, Melvin and Vonnie Danner; and his step-mother, Jewel Baker.

          Leaving to cherish his memories are his wife, Amy Jimmerson Baker; his sons, Branden Lee Baker, Eric Paul Baker (Conner), and Michael Cade Huff; his father, Robert Wilton Baker; his sister, Angela Baker Godwin; his brother, James Kevin Baker (Kim); his grandchildren, Henry Kyson Baker, Brantlee Watson Baker, and a set of twins on the way; and his several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
