Wilford Hollinghead, 67, of Dothan passed away Friday, December 7, 2012 at his residence.

Funeral services will be 2 pm Monday, December 10, 2012 at Sunset Funeral home with Rev. Andy Wood officiating. The family will receive friends from 1-2 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mr. Hollinghead was born December 4, 1945 in Geneva and lived the early part of his life in Bartow, FL and Clermont, FL. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was a resident of Henderson, NC where he was employed with Yancy Trucking for over 8 years prior to his retirement and before moving to Dothan in 2009. Mr. Hollinghead was of the Pentecostal Faith.

Survivors include his wife Imogene Hollinghead of Dothan; daughters, Priscilla (Joe) Edwards and Patricia Ann Rainwater; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Alice Crysel and Shirley Sue (Gary) Cooper; several nieces and nephews also survive.
