WILLEAN JOHNSON


HARTFORD, AL… Willean Johnson, a resident of Hartford, Alabama, passed away Wednesday afternoon, September 21, 2022, at a Dothan hospital. She was 68.


No services are scheduled at this time.


Ms. Willean was born in Coffee Springs, Alabama to the late Willie Day Harrison and Olean Robins Harrison. She lived most of her young life in Ocoee, Florida where she graduated in the Class of 1971, from Ocoee High School. She lived the rest of her adult life in Ocoee, Florida and Coffee Springs, Alabama until moving to Hartford, Alabama about eight years ago. While in Ocoee, Florida she worked as a School Bus Driver for Orange County Schools. She also worked with Frito-Lay in Orlando, Florida. She loved working with flowers in her garden. She was known for taking walks just to relax. She loved her family and cooking for them, especially at Christmas time when she would make her famous dressing. Most of all she loved spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren, of which she adored.


Leaving to cherish her memories are her daughters, Angela Campbell of Hartford, AL, and Jennifer Sewell (Tommy) of Coffee Springs, AL; her sisters, Jackie Swigart, Linda Davidson (Kenneth), and Cynthia Crawford (Robert); her brother, Tommie Harrison (Pam); her beloved grandchildren, Jade Goodwin, Tyler Lee, and Damian Sewell; and her several nieces and nephews.
