William (Bill) Duncan
William (Bill) Duncan, age 74 of Dothan passed away early Wednesday morning, May 2, 2018 at his residence under the care of DaySpring Hospice.
A Service of Remembrance, to be officiated by Dr. Bradley Rushing and Mr. Len Windham, will be held at 6PM Friday, May 4, 2018 in the Chapel of the Angels at Woodland at Family First Funeral Care. The family will receive friends from 5PM until service time. Services will be under the direction of Family First Funeral Care.
Bill had lived in Dothan for the past 35 years. He was a former Pipe Fitter with Local Union 52 in Montgomery. Bill loved to hunt, fish and spend time in the great outdoors but nothing compared to the time he enjoyed spending with his loving family, especially his seven wonderful grandchildren. He will be remembered as a wonderful and loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Peggi Duncan of Dothan; two daughters and sons-in-law, Alisha (David) Seale of Millbrook and Buffy (Paul) Smelley of Montgomery; a son and daughter-in-law, Shane (Leigh) Black of Dothan; a brother and sister-in-law, Harry (Barbara) Chadbourne of Virginia; a sister and brother-in-law, Deb (Kytle) Frye of Georgia; several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive, including a very special cousin, Phil (Angie) Mitchell of Millbrook.
