William “Billy” Noah Greene, a resident of Dothan, AL passed away on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at a local hospital. He was 84.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, June 27, 2021 at 2:00 pm in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Headland, AL. The family will receive friends at the funeral home for one hour prior to the service.
Billy was born on November 13, 1936 in the Edwin Community, Alabama. He was a 1954 graduate of Blue Springs High School. After high school, he graduated from Wallace Technical School with a Mechanic Degree. Billy worked for over 41 years as a mechanic in the Dothan area. He loved spending time with his family and taking vacations.
Billy was preceded in death by his parents, Chappell and Minnie Horne Greene; and his wife, Martha Greene.
Survivors include his sons, Terry (Cindy) Greene, Carl (Nicole) Greene and Eric (Jill) Greene; his grandchildren, Clint Greene, Chelsea (Robert) Newels, Whitney (Gabe) Bass, Hannah (Connor) King, Elijah Greene, Ethan Greene and Phoebe Greene; his six great grandchildren; and his sister, Janet Helms; and several nieces and nephews.
