Mr. William Daniel Maloy of Enterprise, AL formerly of Samson, AL passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2024, at the age of 72.

 Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 30, 2024, in the chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home in Geneva, AL with Bro. Alan Marsh officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery in Samson, AL, with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva, AL directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday beginning at 11:00 a.m.

 Mr. Maloy was born in Opp, AL on September 25, 1951, to the late William Edward Maloy and Annie Jewel Davis Maloy. Daniel was a loving devoted husband, father, Papa and friend. His pride and joy were his children and grandchildren. Daniel spent most of his life in the heavy equipment business and could do any job before him. His passion had always been cars. Fast cars, drag-racing, classics, and antiques. No wonder Daniel made a successful businessman in used car sales. Daniel loved his family and spending time with them. He dedicated his life to taking care of and providing for his loved ones. Daniel will be truly missed by his family and those that knew him.

 In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandfather, William Layfette Maloy, his grandmother, Ester Mae Odom Maloy and several aunts and uncles.

 Daniel is survived by his wife of 53 years, Darlene Day Maloy of Enterprise, AL; one daughter, Kristin Maloy (Joshua Jowers) of Dothan, AL; one son, Josh Maloy (Brandi Maloy) of Enterprise, AL; two grandchildren, Zae Roy (Lily Jenkins) of Geneva, AL and Lexie Maloy of Enterprise, AL; and a number of special family friends.
