OZARK… Mr. William Douglas “Will” Patrick, a resident of Ozark, passed away Thursday morning, September 29, 2022, surrounded by his loving family at his home. He was 56.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, October 3, 2022, in Woodlawn Memory Gardens with Pastor Matthew Sasser officiating. Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home of Ozark is in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends following the graveside services.
William was born March 22, 1966, in Ozark, Alabama and was a 1984 Graduate of Carroll High School. He was employed as a security guard at Ft. Rucker prior to his illness. William enjoyed watching football and was an avid University of Alabama Football fan. He also enjoyed metal detecting, collecting old coins and bottles, along with fishing and gardening. William cherished the time he spent with his loving family. He was preceded in death by his father, J.B. Patrick, grandparents, Foy and Ilene Newton Hall and William Obie and Bertha Lindsey Patrick.
Surviving relatives include his mother, Carolyn Hall Patrick; two daughters, Miranda Lisenby (Nate) and Kadie Matthews (Austin); two sisters, Liz Helms Spencer (Mark) and Deborah Jackson (Joey); five grandchildren, Eli, Alana, Amelia, Madison, and Sawyer; niece, Christina Hayse (Mike); nephew, Jeremy Fink (Kylie); his beloved cat, Bobtail.
Serving as active pallbearers will be Joey Jackson, Nate Lisenby, Austin Matthews, and Jeremy Fink.
The family asks that everyone attending the services wear their favorite University of Alabama gear.
