             Mr. William Edward Smith passed away Thursday, January 15, 2015 at his residence in Opp, Alabama surrounded by his family. He was 64.

             Memorialization will be by cremation. There are no services scheduled at this time.

             Mr. Smith was born on April 26, 1950 in Greenville, Alabama to the late Edwin Arthur and Fannie Lou Jackson Smith.He was a loving family man who loved racing.

             Survivors include his children: Melissa Seagle, Opp, Michael Smith, Florala, James Smith, Opp, Dallas Odom, Opp; Siblings: Mary Wise, Faye Seager, Lester Smith, Lonnie Smith, Tommy Smith, Ada Nolin, Diane Scarborough as well as numerous grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
