William H. “Bill” Pitts, 57, of Newton (Wicksburg) passed away at his home on Monday, October 28, 2013 following a short illness.


The family will be having a private memorial service for Mr. Pitts at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorials may be make to Covenant Hospice, 104 Rock Bridge Road, Dothan, Alabama 36303.


Mr. Pitts was a 1974 graduate of Wicksburg High School. He retired from Pemco, Dothan, Alabama after 35 years of service.


Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Teresa Pitts; his sons, Brandon (Amber) Pitts, and Bradley Pitts both of Newton, Alabama; three step-grandchildren, Khloe, Royce and Bayleigh; his parents, William R. and Louise Pitts, Newton, Alabama; his sister, Linda (Jesse) Romero, Newton, Alabama; his brother, John (Donna) Pitts, Melbourne, Florida; his sister-in-law, Doris (Buford) Roberts, Enterprise, Alabama; his brother-in-law, Jimmy Pressley, Daleville, Alabama; several nieces and nephews.
