William Keith Marchman, 44, a resident of Napier Field, AL passed away after a long illness on Thursday December 10, 2015 at his residence.
Keith was born February 2, 1971 in Dothan and raised in Newton, Alabama where he attended Newton Elementary and Dale County High Schools. Upon graduation from high school in 1989, Keith attended the Southwest Alabama Police Academy. He served as a police officer for over 15 years in the local area. He was a Loss Control Manager at Kmart prior to his disability.
He was one of two children born to parents Kenneth Marchman and the late Phyllis Jane Baxley Marchman. He was the beloved soul mate and partner of Linda Kay Tillerson who took care of him until the end. Keith will forever be remembered by his devoted brother Todd Marchman, beloved children Ben, Tyler and Kaleb, special granddaughter Finnley Grace Graham, along with countless other friends and family whom were blessed to know him.
Keith loved fishing and Alabama football. Keith touched the lives of many people with his smile, love for others, genuine sincerity, and maintained his trademark sense of humor all the way to the end.
Friends and family are invited to attend funeral service at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 13, 2015 at the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Robert Smith officiating. The family will receive friends from 3-4:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be sent to the Foundations for Alcoholism Research, PO Box 54, Middlebury, Vermont 05753.
