WILLIAM  KLAY  CORBIN


DOTHAN. . .William Klay Corbin, a resident of Dothan, died Wednesday afternoon, February 22, 2017, in a Dothan hospital. He was 51.


            Celebration of Life Services, with military honors, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, February 25, 2017, in the Heritage Baptist Church with Reverend Van Clack officiating. Holman-Headland Mortuary & Cremations is in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M. Saturday in the church sanctuary.


            In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Heritage Baptist Church, 1951 Westgate Parkway, Dothan, AL 36303.


            Klay Corbin was born in Lake City, Florida and was reared in Montgomery, son of the late Berlon L. Corbin and Eve Stokes Corbin. He was a graduate of Robert E. Lee High School in Montgomery. Klay served his country in the United States Marine Corps from 1986 until 1990. He was employed by Commercial Jet at Napier Field as an IPC Clerk. Klay was affiliated with the Heritage Baptist Church.


            Surviving relatives include his wife, Cathy Woodfin Corbin; three sons, Cody Corbin (Stacey), Albuquerque, NM; Shane Corbin (Ashley), Ashford; and Nick Corbin (Anna), Dothan; his step-mother, Wilene Goodson Corbin, Montgomery; a sister,  Kim Corbin Newberry (Don), Prattville; a brother, Kyle Corbin (Myra), Millbrook, AL; several nieces and nephews.
