William Malcolm Dunaway, age 71, of Dothan passed away Saturday, May 31, 2014.


 


Born November 16, 1942 in Newton to the late William Nelson and Olla Bell Thomas Dunaway, Mr. Dunaway was an insurance agent operating the Insurance Center of the South. He was on the Board of Directors for United Way, Wiregrass Area Food Bank, Independent Insurance Agents of Alabama, Professional Insurance Agents, and the Medical Clinic Board. He loved to watch his grandchildren play sports as well as watch Atlanta Braves baseball and Alabama football. More than these, he loved to spend time with his family, his wife, his children and grandchildren.


 


In addition to his parents, Mr. Dunaway was preceded in death by two brothers, William Eugene Dunaway and David Foster Dunaway.


 


Survivors include his wife, Annie Paulk Dunaway; his daughter, Cherie Raffle and her husband Dan; his grandchildren, Garrett and Kennedy Raffle; his sister, Janis Caddell; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.


 


Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at Memory Hill Cemetery with Reverend Stacy Stafford officiating and Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at Ward Wilson Funeral Home, Monday, June 2, 2014 from 5 until 7 PM.


 


The family will be accepting flowers or you may make a contribution to the United Way, Wiregrass Area Food Bank, or your favorite charity.
