William Michael (Barnacle Bill) Krafft passed away on Tuesday, November 30, 2021, after a courageous battle with MS. He was 50 years old.
Bill was born at Fort Thomas, KY, and grew up in Cincinnati, OH, the youngest of three siblings. He graduated from Anderson High School and attended the University of Cincinnati before enlisting in the U.S. Army where he was a Chief Warrant Officer. After leaving the Army, Bill became an Instructor Pilot with a proud career of over 20 years.
Bill loved music and was an excellent guitar player and singer. He enjoyed beach trips, performing music with his friends, attending concerts with his wife, watching Bama football games, and relaxing at home.
He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Janet Winchester Krafft.
Bill is survived by his loving wife of 17 years, Rhonda Grimmer Krafft of Enterprise; stepson Jonathan Daughtry (Emily) and grandson James Daughtry of Birmingham; father Jim Krafft of Cincinnati; sisters Julie Keefe of New Mexico and Kelly Laube (Bart) of Cincinnati; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws, and friends, especially his buddy Joel Fronk.
A special thank you to the nurses and staff in SICU at Flowers Hospital, particularly Blake Love.
