We celebrate the home going of our brother William H. Rymer III. He peacefully left his bedside on Wednesday the 9th of October 2024 at 1PM.




A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 12, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home of Enterprise with Reverend John McCrummen officiating.




He was borne on the 18th of November 1947 in Charlotte North Carolina. He was preceded in death by his parents William H Rymer, Jr. and Della Rymer. His brother Tim Rymer.



He is survived by his wife of 47 years Jade Rymer, who he married in 1977. His daughter Colette Rymer of Enterprise Alabama, son Dr. Peter Nghiem (Sara) of College Station Texas and grandchildren Leo and Emma.



William became a Christian, accepting Jesus Christ at the age of 5 in his family home in Charlotte, North Carolina. He served in the U.S. Navy four years, after graduating ROTC, achieving the rank of a 1st Lieutenant. He then served in the U.S. Army at Ft Rucker until moving to work with Civil Service in the same office; adding up to a total of 53 years of service to country. In 1979 William and Jade united with Open Door Baptist Church and are still members today, serving as a Deacon, Bible Study Teacher, and an encouragement to all.



William will be missed by family, his church family, friends from work and community.
