On Saturday, December 14, 2019, Willie Gene Dyson “Bones”, a loving husband, father of four girls, and “Paw-Paw”, went home to be with Jesus surrounded by loved ones.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at Glover Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jerry Harden officiating. Burial will follow in Madrid Cemetery with Glover Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 on Monday at Glover Funeral Home. At other times the family will be at the Dyson home, 1118 E. Saunders Road, Lot 312, Dothan, Alabama.

Mr.  Dyson was born on May 3, 1960 in Donalsonville, Georgia to the late Jessie James and Dorothy Nell Dyson. He enjoyed spending time with family, having bonfires, playing pool, listening to music and riding the roads. He was a very hard worker and was in the lawncare business.

Mr. Dyson is predeceased by his parents; two brothers; a sister; two nephews and a niece.

He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Martha Faye Dyson; his four girls, Regina Booth (Adam), Amanda Dyson (Billy), Sabrina Dyson (Waylon), Keshia Fisher (Ethan); six grandkids, Tyler, Marleigh Kate, Colby, Trenton, Jase and Khloe; two brothers, Bobby Dyson and James Dyson (Skeeter); a sister, Peggy Sue Downs; several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Kindred Home Health and Hospice.

Active pallbearers will be Paul Moat, Billy Clark, Ray Kirkland II, Allen Kelly, Brandon Henderson and Tim Dyson.

Honorary pallbearers will be Chad Moat and BoBo Dyson.
