Willie “Joe” Bozeman, age 79, of Montgomery, Alabama departed this life unexpectedly Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at his home.  Funeral services will be held at Zion Chapel Baptist Church on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 beginning at 2 pm with Pastor Nick Hughes officiating.  Burial will follow at the Zion Chapel Baptist Church cemetery under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home.  Visitation will be held at the church one hour prior to services on Tuesday.  

Mr. Bozeman was preceded in death by his wife Ranell Swain Bozeman, his parents Aubrey Ralph and Thelma Kathleen Bradley Bozeman, his son-in-law Benjamin Starke, brothers, Larry and Bill and sister Brenda. 

He is survived by his daughter Kimberly Starke (Ben) of Montgomery Alabama, son Brian Bozeman (Cristen) of Montgomery Alabama.  He also leaves behind grandsons, Matthew Starke of Huntsville, Alabama, Zachary Starke of Auburn, Alabama, Aaron Starke of Montgomery, Alabama, granddaughter Rachel Starke of Montgomery, Alabama and a sister Katie of Wynne, Arkansas.
