Willie Mae Dady Biggs of Westville, FL (New Hope Community) passed away Friday, October 18, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was 89.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 21, 2024 in the chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home in Geneva with Rev. Rossie Bryant and Rev. Wayne Brannon officiating. Burial will follow in the Mount Olive Assembly of God Church Cemetery with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Monday beginning at 10:00 a.m. and continue until service time.
Willie Mae was born May 29, 1935 in Holmes Co., FL to the late Alexander and Lizzie Davis Dady. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family, sewing, but most of all, she was always up for a good ole fishing trip. She retired after 30 years from Van Heusen Shirt Factory where she worked in supply support. Willie Mae was a faithful, long-time member of Mt. Olive Assembly of God Church. She loved her church family and served the Lord faithfully.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Neal Brown; four sisters, Mozelle Watson, Mary Scott, Frances Gilmore, and Inez Cochran and one brother, Charlie Dady.
Willie Mae is survived by her husband of 43 years, Leon “Buddy” Biggs of New Hope, FL; one daughter, Linda Anderson (David) of Geneva, AL, three grandchildren, Jennifer Adams (Greg), Derek Cotton (Kyshia), all of Geneva, AL and Jamie Brown of Westville, FL; five great grandchildren, Landon Adams, Logan Adams, Lawson Adams, Landry Cotton and Leyton Cotton, all of Geneva, AL; and a number of special nieces and nephews.
