Ms. Richardson was born on October 31, 1928 in Enterprise, Alabama and lived there the early years of her life and moved to Dothan in 1970. She was the best mother in the world, a wonderful, caring, Christian example to everyone who knew her, and was always thinking of other people. She loved cooking, many lovely memories were made while sharing her table with others, especially with her children and grandchildren. Ms. Richardson was employed with Wex Tex for several years but found the time outside of her work to travel and savor life. She loved to exercise with her friends at Southeast Health and had a love of dancing with the Single’s Club at Doug Tew Center. Ms. Richardson’s faith in Christ was always at the center of everything she did, she was a faithful member of Grandview Baptist Church for the past 44 years.
Ms. Richardson was preceded in death by her daughter, Joyce Ann Kautz.
Survivors include her 3 sons, James (Nancy) Fleming, Ricky Richardson, and Freddy Richardson; her daughter, Karen (John) Wessner; her 10 grandchildren; her 11 great-grandchildren; her sister, Eula (Kermit) Richardson; her son-in-law, Robert Kautz; several nieces and nephews; and her best friend, Martha Keen.
