DOTHAN. . . Wyno Dell Smothers Harris, a resident of Dothan, formerly of Headland, died Monday morning, October 23, 2017, in Noland Hospital. She was 75.

            Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 25, 2017, in the Dothan Church of God with Reverend George Ellison officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M. in the church sanctuary. Burial will follow in the Concord Baptist Church Cemetery near Newville. All services will be held in the church and there will be no graveside services at the cemetery. Holman Headland Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

            Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to the Dothan Church of God, 601 Hedstrom Drive, Dothan, AL 36301.

            Wyno Dell Harris was born and reared near Newville, daughter of the late Henry Wade Smothers and Vera Myrtle Green Smothers. She was a graduate of Newville High School. Wyno Dell lived in Headland most of her lifetime before moving to Dothan in 2013. She was a member of the Concord Baptist Church. Wyno Dell was formerly employed by WestPoint Stevens in Abbeville. She was preceded in death by a sister, Mathell Sellers and a brother, George Smothers.

            Surviving relatives include a daughter, LaShea Martin (Billy), Dothan; a sister, Shirley Welch, Headland; and a brother Wayne Smothers (Marie), Abbeville.
