Wyvonnie Evonn Chambers, a resident of Dothan, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, January 19, 2022. She was 70 years old.
Graveside services will be held at 1 pm on Saturday, January 29, 2022 in Sunset Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, January 28, 2022 from 5pm-7pm.
Wyvonnie was born in Dale County on June 7, 1951. She was a gifted seamstress, she sewed by hand. Wyvonnie loved spending time with her family, crafting and animals, especially cats. She was a devoted woman of God who prayed daily.
Wyvonnie was preceded in death by her parents, John Lee and Ella Maude Bradsberry Chambers; her daughter, Carol Chambers; her brother and sister-in-law, Timothy Charles Chambers and Diane Brooks Chambers.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her children, Gary (Lisa) Chambers, Marie Chambers (Fred Wilson), Rodell (Priscilla) Chambers, and Odell (Muriel) Chambers; her grandchildren, Brittney Chambers, Chantale Chambers, Antonio Finn, Sherry Finn (Jason May), Kenyette Saywon, and Lauren Chambers; her great grandchildren, Nikiara Chambers, Jayden May, Javon May, and Kameron Finn; siblings, Willie (Cynthia) Chambers, Johnny (Irene) Chambers, Dorothy Jean Chambers, Almeka Blackmon and Linda (Douglas) Chambers; numerous nieces and nephews; and long time friend of the family, Johnny Williams, Jr.
