Yesenia was born on July 29, 1977 at Womack Hospital in Ft. Bragg, North Carolina.  She was loved by everyone, she also loved everyone. She was brave, strong, a fighter, beautiful, caring, and never met a stranger. She was the life of any party.  Around 3 years old, our parents bought her a pair of red boots with liners.  They were her favorite shoes, but they made her feet stink and no one could talk her out of wearing them.

She always hated mixing her food and never let her rice touch her vegetables.  It made her mad if you mixed her food.  She disliked Neapolitan ice cream just because each flavor touched.   I even tried to mix her food once and jabbed me with her fork without blinking or saying a word.  I knew her action meant “basta”!

Her favorite after school snack was chicken ramen.  She would mash it in the bag and cook.  Although she didn’t want her food mixed, sometimes she would get brave and mix in an egg.

Yesenia is preceded in death by her mother Maria Espinoza Barcía De Bailón and grandparents Clara Victoria Barcía Robles De Bailón and Pedro Urbano Bailón Pesantes, Ayda Barcía Robles De Espinoza and Jos? Arturo Espinoza Rezabala.

Survivors include her father, Galo M. Bailón Barcía; daughter, Destiny Alexandra Maria Flowers; sister, LeAnna M. Bailón; brother, Galo A. Bailón (Andria); four nieces, Mia Bailón, Zoë Bailón, Callie Bailón and Rosie Bailón; nephew, Isaias Bailón.
