Mr. Zachery Ray Jones of Westville, FL passed away May 28, 2022 at the age of 63.

A Celebration of Life service will be 2:00 p.m, Saturday, June 4, 2022 in the Chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home with Bro. Allen Marsh officiating and Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home directing. The family will accept friends at the funeral home beginning at 1:00 p.m.

Zachery was born at Elmendorf AFB in Anchorage, Alaska on July  01, 1958, the day Alaska entered the union as a state from being a territory . He was born to Nelva Dean Jones and the late Cecil Rex Jones. Along with sharing the same birthday as the state of Alaska, he was the first baby boy to be born in the state.  

 Zac enjoyed many things in life from mullet fishing to eating at his favorite restaurant Buffalo’s Reef. He was a skilled handyman who loved to start projects but never finish them. He loved sitting next to a good fire while listening to his collection of music. If you asked Zac what he was most proud of in life he would have told you it was his family. While he loved to do all of these things his favorite thing to do was spending time with his family and making them laugh.

 He is survived by his high school sweetheart, who became his loving and devoted wife of 45 years, Juanita T. Jones of Westville, FL; one son, Joshuah Ray Jones (Sandra); grandsons, Quinton Ray Jones, Zakary Rex Jones, Matthew Alexander Tate, and Bryan Spencer Tate; granddaughter, Madison Jewel Jones; mother, Nelva Dean Jones; two sisters, Belinda Gail Smith (Dave) and Nicole Jones Vaughn (Scott); a host of extended family and close friends.
