MIDLAND CITY…Mr. Joe Mack Creamer (Sergeant, Alabama Army National Guard, Retired) was born June 22, 1957, and entered his eternal home in heaven on Saturday morning, April 11, 2026. He was 68 years old.
Joe Mack, or Pops as he was affectionately called, was a devoted husband, loving father, and doting grandfather. He was a committed follower of Christ, a member of Northside Assembly of God, and a faithful friend to many. Known for his hard-working character, servant’s heart, selfless spirit, and contagious smile, Joe Mack was dearly loved by all who knew him. Mr. Creamer was a veteran, having served as Sergeant in the Alabama Army National Guard. After leaving Michelin Tire with twenty-five years as a Floor Facilitator, he worked the past twenty-six years at Waste Management as the Maintenance Manager. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hershel and Hazel Creamer, two brothers, Jeff Creamer and Robert Creamer, and his mothers-in-law Jean Jenkins and Rachel Jenkins.
He is survived by his wife, Ginger Jenkins Creamer; his children, Joe Mack Creamer, Jr (wife Jessica) of Tallassee, Alabama, Jereme Clay Creamer (wife Malissa) of Midland City, Alabama, Joni Sheree Dykes of Dothan, Alabama; his cherished grandchildren, Trent, Sophie, Levi, Gage, Emma, Avery, and Joli; father-in-law James Earl Jenkins, step-mother Francis Creamer, and several nieces and nephews.
Joe Mack has four siblings James Black (wife Debbie) of Midland City, Alabama, Glenda Walker of Newton, Alabama, Judy Cordes (husband Kevin) of Newton, Alabama, and Anthony Creamer of Newton, Alabama.  A brother-in-law and two sisters-in-law Roger and Carol Riley of Midland City, Alabama and Kay Creamer of Dothan.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, April 16, 2026, at Northside Assembly of God in Dothan, Alabama, with Bishop Ricky Martin officiating. Graveside services, with full military honors, will follow at Sunset Memorial Park in Midland City. Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home of Ozark is in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 A.M. Thursday at Northside Assembly.
Serving as active pallbearers will be Trent Creamer, Levi Creamer, Gage Daniel, Jamie Dale Riley, Brantley Riley, and Ethan Sapp. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Sophie Creamer, Emma Dykes, Avery Creamer, and Joli Dykes.
