CLIO…Mr. Norman Thomas Krause, a resident of Clio, died late Wednesday afternoon, May 14, 2025, at his home. He was 73.

In keeping with the wishes of the family, there are no public services planned at this time. Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home of Ozark is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Krause, son of the late Norman Gerhardt Krause and Helen Louise Farley Krause, was a native of Chicago, Illinois. He was a 1969 Graduate of Lane Tech in Chicago and received a bachelor’s degree in law and political science. Mr. Krause moved to Boynton Beach, Florida in 1975 and later moved to Pahokee, Florida in 1982 where he became a Florida Highway Patrol Officer. He retired with the rank of Lieutenant with the Florida Highway Patrol and moved to Clio in 2005. Mr. Krause was preceded in death by his wife of thirty-seven years, Denise Malopolski Krause and a sister, Linda Joanne Donahue.

Surviving relatives include his children, Jessica Krause Parks (Gene), Emily L. Krause (Mason Shaffer), and Sarah E. Krause-Santiago (Luis A.); his sister, Kathleen Reynolds, Chicago; grandchildren, Kaleb Krause, Elijah T. Krause, Charlotte J. Parks, and Peyton L. Shaffer; his grandpups, Bruce and Talia; nieces and nephew, Christine, Melissa, Stacey, and Patrick.
