Patricia Charlotte (Spooner) Watford, age 81, resident of Dothan passed away Thursday, February 20, 2025, at her home.

Charlotte was born on August 26, 1943 to Thames Spooner and Katherine Wiggins Spooner in Midland City. She grew up in Napier Field. Later she married her husband, Benny Watford and moved to Orlando, FL. There she completed her GED at Boone High School in 1976. Charlotte was mainly a home maker in her home for her husband and son. While living in Pensacola she worked one year at Chemstrand. Later while living in Texas she enjoyed volunteering at the YMCA. Charlotte loved to read. She made an impact on her family with her great smile and sweet soul.
Charlotte is preceeded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her husband, Benny Watford; son, Phillip Watford (Sue Magness) of Bryson City, NC; sister, Charon Hodges of Headland, brother, Larry Spooner (Betty Lou) of North Carolina; brother in law, Rodney Watford (Deb) of Panama City Beach, FL; nieces, Amanda Redding (Melton), Jessie Watford, Jennifer Fapso (Matt); nephews, Josh Watford (Brittany), Trey Hodges (Teresa); great nieces, Jolie Watford, Trinity Fapso, Kaylee Fapso, Kellee Fapso; great nephews, Ethan Hodges and Elijah Hodges.
