PATRICIA LYNN WILKINSON FURNISS
ABBEVILLE… Patricia Lynn Wilkinson Furniss, a resident of the Screamer Community near Abbeville, Alabama, passed away Saturday night, May 30, 2026, at her home. She was 79.
A memorial service will be held 11:45 A.M. Sunday, June 7, 2026, at Lakeside Christian Fellowship, with Reverend Mickey Skinner officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. Wright Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Furniss was born in Richmond, Indiana to the late Harold Wilkinson and Nellie Day Bane Wilkinson. She graduated from Centerville High School. She had previously lived in Bonita Springs, Florida before moving to Abbeville, Alabama over twenty years ago. She retired as a secretary and bookkeeper for many years. She was a dedicated member of the Lakeside Christian Fellowship Church.
Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by her son, Michael Eugene Tubesing; and her sister, Rosemary Jack.
Leaving to cherish her memories are her husband, Robert James “Bob” Furniss; her son, Monty Lee Tubesing (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Joseph Daniel, Adam Jacob, Lauren Faith, Mandy Leigh, Kendal Ann, and Zoey Lynn; her great-grandchildren, Amelia Grace, Henry Owen, Gracie Rayne, Maximus James, Theodore Malcolm, Kylie Lynn, Luella Rose, and Sophia Enola; and several friends and neighbors.
