Patsy Earline (Gulledge) Hussey, a resident of Eufaula, Alabama, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, February 18, 2026, at Southeast Health in Dothan, Alabama. She was 77 years old.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, February 22, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. in the Glover Funeral Home Chapel in Eufaula with Rev. Chris Beam officiating and Glover Funeral Home directing. The burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery Addition. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Flowers will be accepted.
Patsy was born on April 29, 1948, in Eufaula, Alabama, the daughter of the late George “Sim” Ellis and Janie Mae (Hutto) Gulledge. She worked for many years for the Alabama State Prisons Systems as a clerk. Patsy enjoyed cooking and trying new recipes, dancing, and ordering from the QVC network. More than anything else, Patsy loved her family and spending time with them. She was a member of Parkview Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents; nephew, Allen Self; sister-in-law, Dorothy Gulledge.
Left to cherish her loving memories are her brother, Donald Gulledge of Abbeville, Alabama; sister, Patricia Self (Larry) of Eufaula, Alabama; four nephews, Don Gulledge (Karla), Hugh Gulledge, Matthew Self (Amy), and Jason Self; niece, Shannon Horne (Bryan).
Asked to serve as pallbearers are Clayton Self, Aaron Bush, Matthew Self, Hugh Gulledge, Julian Palmer, and Drew Gulledge.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Westside Terrace and The Gardens of Eufaula for the wonderful care they provided Patsy.
