TALLAHASSEE, FLORDA. . .Perry Dean Weems, a resident of Tallahassee, Florida, died Thursday morning, April 24, 2025, in the Lake City V.A. Medical Center, Lake City, Florida. He was 77.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday, April 28, 2025, in the Haleburg Cemetery with Reverend Joey Hudspeth officiating, Holman-Headland Mortuary & Cremations is in charge of arrangements.
Perry Weems was born in Abbeville, Alabama and was raised in Haleburg, Alabama and Jacksonville, Florida. He served his country in the U. S. Navy. Perry lived most of his adult lifetime in Tallahassee, Florida. He was retired as an Automobile Salesman with Werner Kia in Tallahassee. He was a member of Killearn Methodist Church in Tallahassee. Perry was preceded in death by his father, Robert Frank Weems, his mother, Jeanne Trawick Weems, his step-mother, Gail Weems, a sister, Jane Mickler, two brothers, Robert Weems, Jr. and Thomas Wayne Weems, a step-sister, Wylene Blair, a step-brother, Orville Harrison, half-brothers, Jackey Lynn Weems and Johnny Ben Kendall.
Surviving relatives include his daughters, Abbie Weems Tyson (Jeremy), Lee, Florida; and Amanda Grace Weems, Tallahassee, FL; a grandson, Wyatt Finch; a brother, Wiley Joe Weems (Tina), Woodville, FL; a step-brother, Allen Harrison (Charlotte), Andalusia, AL; an Aunt, Martha Weems Sanders and the Mother of Perry’s daughters, Benita Bailey, nieces, Alden Smith, Amy Faith, Aneita Shaw, Megan Michaels, Kelsey Kyle and Brandi Chace, a nephew, Sean Weems, numerous cousins who Perry was very close to in Alabama, a special friend and caretaker, Doris Clark of Tallahassee.
