Phyllis Ann Puckett, a resident of Dothan, Alabama, died Saturday, June 5, 2026, At Southeast Health following a brief illness. She was 70.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, June 11, 2026, at Glover Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Tim Bristow officiating. Interment will be immediately following the service in Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery, Bonifay, Florida with Glover Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends Wednesday, June 10, 2026, from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Glover Funeral Home.
Phyllis was born to the late Walter and Irene Boswell Puckett, at Ft. Bragg, North Carolina. She lived most of her life in Bonifay, Florida before moving to Dothan, Alabama. Her hobbies included reading, writing, studying the Bible and listening to good music. She loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and cherished every moment she spent with him. She was a faithful mother, grandmother and sister and her most precious times were spent making lasting memories with her family. She was known for her good hugs and helping people any way she could. She will be dearly missed by all who loved and knew her.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Ken Puckett and a sister, Lana Judah.
Left to cherish her memories are 2 daughters Corina Waters (Mike), Sarah Wilson (Terry); a son, Thomas Keen; a granddaughter, Kelly Waters; a sister-in-law, Ann Keen; her best friend, Martha Maddox; along with numerous friends.
