DOTHAN. . .Rebecca Ann Hayes “Becky” Anderson, a resident of Dothan, passed away Thursday afternoon, May 21, 2026, at her home. She was 63.
There are no memorial or funeral services planned at this time. Holman-Headland Mortuary & Cremations is in charge of arrangements.
Becky Anderson was born in Stuart, Florida and was raised in Dothan where she lived all her life. She was a graduate of Wicksburg High School and Wallace Community College where she received a degree as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Becky retired from Wesley Place on Honeysuckle as a Licensed Practical Nurse. In earlier years, she was employed by Gentiva Hospice as a nurse. Becky was preceded in death by her father, Reverend Albert Hayes, her mother, Dorothy Phillbrook Hayes, a son, Justin Albert Burdeshaw, a sister, Carol Hayes Adams and a niece, Courtney Adams.
Surviving relatives include her husband, William Steven “Steve” Anderson; and a niece, Madison Miller.
