Jackson County Sheriffs arrested a man for fleeing law enforcement after a pursuit ended in Houston County.
On Jan. 16, Jackson County Sheriffs saw a vehicle driving in the wrong lane of traffic before nearly hitting a deputy’s vehicle.
The driver, identified as Jimmy Dixon, led a pursuit into Houston County and eventually came to a stop. Houston County Sheriff’s Deputies assisted taking Dixon into custody.
Dixon is charged with reckless driving, fleeing and eluding, and driving while license suspended or revoked knowingly. He was taken to the Houston County Jail.
