HALEBURG. . .Renee Carter Hall, a resident of Haleburg, passed away late Saturday afternoon, August 1, 2026, at her home. She was 70.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, August 4, 2026, in the Haleburg Cemetery with Pastor Jeff Brewer officiating. The family will receive friends following the graveside services in the Haleburg Senior Center. Holman-Headland Mortuary & Cremations is in charge of arrangements.
Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to the Camp Springs Baptist Church, 13205 County Road 53, Columbia, AL 36319.
Renee Hall was born in Panama City, Florida and was raised in various locations while her father served in the U S. Air Force. She lived most of her lifetime in Haleburg. Renee was a 1974 graduate of Headland High School and attended Wallace Community College. She was a member of Camp Springs Baptist Church. Renee was retired from GE Railcar as a Human Resource Director. She was preceded in death by father, James Roy Carter, her mother, Maxine Harris Carter, a daughter, Amber Renee Hall, and a brother, James Ricky Carter .
Surviving relatives include her husband, Joe Hall; two sons, Joey Hall, Haleburg; and Jeffrey Hall (Crystal), Mobile, AL; a brother, Art Carter (Kelly), Ashford; a sister-in-law, Barbara Carter, Dothan; grandchildren, Rebecca Reynolds, Ashton Reynolds and Quintin Reynolds; several nieces and nephews; and her special canine friend, “Weenie”.
Serving as active pallbearers will be Joey Hall, Jeffrey Hall, Art Carter, Monty Goocher, Larry Killingsworth and Hannon Hall, Jr.
