Robert James Carroll, of Dothan, AL, son of George and Bertha Carroll, passed away at his residence on June 16, 2025, at the age of 73 after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on April 22, 1952, Robert’s zest for life and boundless energy defined him throughout his years.
Robert’s journey began as a young man with a vision, which led him to establish RJC Transportation, a trucking company that specialized in hauling produce. His work was not just a job; it was his passion. He poured his heart into his business, ensuring that it thrived, until his retirement.
Robert is survived by his beloved wife of 33 years, Katherine Carroll, son; Chris Carroll, daughter; Jennifer Clauson, his three sisters, Beverly Furtado, Kathy Ledbetter and Chris Tuckey, as well as his stepchildren, Chris Smith, Jennifer Stasiak, Melanie Baird and step grandchildren; Tyler Dill and Chase Gray.
The family will hold a memorial service at a later date.
