Robert Kenneth Baker, affectionately known as Pops, passed away peacefully Sunday, November 9, 2025, at Southeast Health in Dothan, Alabama. He was 65 years old.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Calvary Assembly of God in Clio, Alabama, with Rev. Randy Adams officiating and Glover Funeral Home directing. The burial will follow in the Pine Level Baptist Church Cemetery in Louisville, Alabama. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Flowers will be accepted.
Kenneth was born on December 18, 1959, in Columbus, Georgia, to the late Robert Winnon and Mildred Girdean Pippins Baker. He was a graduate of Louisville High School and worked for many years as a Produce Manager for Piggly Wiggly and Super Sav. Kenneth enjoyed fishing, antiques and always loved a “good deal”, but most of all he loved his family and spending time with them. Kenneth was a member of Calvary Assembly of God Church.
He is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Kandice Leigh Price; sister, Kathleen Greene; father and mother-in-law, Foy Edward and Mary Alice Price; sisters-in-law, Leslie Lea Price and Amy Shores Price.
Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife of 44 years, Teresea Price Baker; son, Christopher Baker of Louisville; daughter, Crystal Sweeney (Will) of Louisville; three sisters, Shirley Glisson of Waverly Hall, Georgia, Judy McLaney (Darrell) of Ozark, Alabama, and Girdean Pate (Johnny) of Arlington, Texas; brothers-in-law, Tracy Price and Bobby Jo Greene; spoiled granddog, Chug; and several nieces and nephews.
Asked to serve as pallbearers are Ken Langford, Chris Barwick, Eric Blankenship, Jonathon Barber, Jerrad Bryant, and Van Bowden.
