AVON. . .Robert Lamar Tice, a resident of Avon, passed away early Friday morning, April 10, 2026, in a Dothan hospital. He was 64.
There are no memorial or funeral services planned at this time. Holman-Headland Mortuary & Cremations is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Tice was born in Avon and raised in Houston County. He lived in the Ashford area all his life. In earlier years, he was self-employed as the owner and operator of Robert Tice Painting. Mr. Tice was preceded in death by his father, R. L. Tice, and a sister, Sharon Thorn.
Surviving relatives include his son, Lucas Tice, Dothan; his mother, Ann Branton Tice, Ashford; a sister, Linda Joyce McCrimmon, Ashford; a brother, Ronnie Tice (Wendi), Rehobeth; nieces, Brittany Layton (Heath) and Heather Ann Smith (George); nephews, Logan Tice and Landon Tice; other nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
