Obituary from Holman Funeral Home of Ozark – Ozark, Alabama

 Mrs. Trudie Elizabeth Furman Lane, a resident of Ozark, died Monday, February 16, 2026, at her home.  She was 73 years old.   A memorial service for Mrs. Lane will be held 11:00 A.M. Monday, February 23, 2026, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home in Ozark with Reverend Tim Bates officiating, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing.  Interment will be in Fort Mitchell National Veterans Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home in Ozark Monday from 10:00 A.M. until service time.

Mrs. Lane was born March 29, 1952 in Ann Arbor, Michigan to the late William Frederick Furman and Josephine Dorothy Seitz Furman. She moved to Ozark in 2002 where was a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church. Mrs. Lane enjoyed baking and decorating cakes.   Survivors include her husband, Raymond James Lane of Ozark; two daughters, Kris Farrier of Ozark and Melanie Lane of Eureka, California; one son, Joe Trudeau of Wetumpka, Alabama; grandchildren, Tyler Farrier, Sarafina Lane, Jackson Lane, Rosetta Lane, Joe Trudeau, Jr., Ethan Trudeau, Victoria Trudeau and Selina Trudeau; and one sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Mark Stevens of Ocala, Florida.
