SANDRA CAROL WILSON

Ms. Sandra Carol Wilson, age 81, of Dothan, Alabama passed away June 25, 2026, at her home. She was born on June 14, 1945, in Greensboro, North Carolina to the late Robert Harris and Argyroe Bledsow Harris. In addition to her parents, Sandra was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Joseph ‘Joe’ Dewayne Wilson, a son, Dean Anthony Wilson, three brothers, Robert Patrick Harris, Robert Dean Harris, and Tony Harris, and a sister, Kathy Harris.

Sandra was a woman of strong faith who loved her family, her church, and her church family dearly. Sandra was known as a mighty prayer warrior, faithfully lifting others up in prayer and sharing the love of Christ with those around her.

Sandra dedicated 33 years of service to Dunbarton Corporation as a Credit Manager before retiring. She took pride in her work and the relationships she built throughout the years.

Her greatest joys came from spending time with her family, and caring for her beloved dog, Poncho, who held a special place in her heart.

Ms. Wilson is survived by two sons, Damon Wilson and wife Rachel of Enterprise, AL and Adam Wilson and wife Keisha of Cowarts, AL; two grandchildren, Britney Wallace and Chandler Wilson; two great-granddaughters, Izabella and Laiklyn; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Monday, June 29, 2026, at Heritage Baptist Church with Rev. Jeff Ross officiating. Interment will be held at 3:00 PM Monday, June 29, 2026, in the Bethlehem Community Cemetery with Peel Funeral Home and Bonifay Crematory in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 12 to 1 PM at Heritage Baptist Church, 1951 Westgate Parkway, Dothan, AL.
