Sandra Elaine Anderson of Hartford passed away peacefully on August 22, 2026, at Southeast Health. She was 62.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at Sorrells Funeral Home in Slocomb with Elder Olie Brown officiating, followed by interment at Hartford City Cemetery. Family and friends are welcome one hour prior to the service to share their memories and support.
Born on December 5, 1963, in Phenix City, Alabama, Sandra was the beloved daughter of Ida Wilkerson Anderson and the late Willie B. Anderson. She embraced the joys of simple pleasures: fishing, gardening, and crafting delightful meals for her loved ones. Above all, Sandra treasured moments with her family, leaving a legacy of warmth and love.
Cherishing her memory are her sons, Greg Hutcherson, Bradley Hutcherson (Ciara Lee), and Derrick Green; grandchildren, Braydenn Hutcherson, Jayden Hutcherson, Chloe Lee, and Ashlynn Hutcherson; her mother, Ida Anderson; siblings, Linda Anderson, Eric Anderson (Elizabeth), Ramonia Ross (Dominic), and Freddy Wilkerson; along with her nieces, Bria Ross, and Emily Anderson; nephew, Brandon Anderson; and many more family members and friends.
Sandra’s spirit and love remain in the hearts of all who knew her, forever cherished in the lives she touched.
